The Coalition for WHRDs Tanzania and Eastern WHRDs Network participating to the GIMAC Pre -Summit CSOs Consultative Meeting took place last week from 7th -8th February 2025 in Addis Abba, Ethiopia. This year, the theme is " Advancing the Agenda for Justice and Reparations for African Women and Girls" Coalition for WHRDs Tanzania was represented by National Coordinator Ms. Hilda Stuart Dadu, who also coordinates the Eastern African Women HRDs Network. Pre Summit event is a very significant forum for women's rights organizations to participate as the forum provides opportunities for participants to advocate for women's and girls' rights at the regional level. Most of women's issues around the region culminated with similar cultural and male patriarchal systemics practices. The forum provides an avenue for WROs and WHRDs to share and learn experiences and best practices that can be adopted by government leaders during the African Union Summits and implemented in their countries.
