SRHR dialogue to women human rights defenders

The Coalition for Women Human Rights Defenders Tanzania conducted the Dialogue of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights as part of CWHRDs-Tz objectives of building capacities of women human rights defenders through National women’s movements, women rights organizations and networks. The Dialogue was held on 26th March 2022 at Landmark Hotel, Ubungo in Dar es salaam and attended by 20 participants (18 women and 2 men) from different organizations and individuals including YAI, CWHRD-Tz, TIBA, RUFFO, WIMA, LHRC,LJF,BHRT, WATED, and students from the Institute of Social work and teachers from Day Care schools. The objective of the Dialogue of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights was to building capacity/raising awareness to the people concerning with the abortion, unsafe abortion, post abortion care services, costs, negative impacts related to unsafe abortion and finally to recommend measures/strategies to solve the problem so as to protect the health and human rights of women and girls.
