Coalition for Women Human Rights Defenders Tanzania (CWHRDs Tz) is one of the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) participating in the CSO Week 2024 taking place in Arusha, Tanzania from 9 to 13 September 2024. The CSO Week theme is "Leap Frogging Tanzania into the Future 2050 and Beyond" with a focus on Voice, Vision, and Value for the Tanzania we want by 2050 and beyond under the organisation of the Foundation for Civil Society. The guest of honor, Professor Kitila Alexander Mkumbo, Minister of State, President’s Office for Planning and Investment, called on CSOs to be creative, independent and invest to contribute to the promotion of country' economy and welfare of citizens. He promised that the Tanzanian Government will work in collaboration to promote the roles of CSOs and forge better cooperation between CSOs and the government
